WE BELIEVE

When ‘Creyentes’ told us about their initiative to hang the banners of the supporters’ clubs in the Metropolitano, our club didn’t hesitate for a moment: from the beginning, we were very clear that our banner should be there, adorning and bringing color, spirit, and presence. We joined this initiative because we are convinced that the banners are the veins through which the blood of the supporters’ clubs flows, and these are, in turn, the heart of any team. Without the supporters’ clubs and their representation, the team is nothing.

We got to work, and it was Alberto Cuartones, as always, who took charge of capturing what we wanted and made a design that we are especially proud of, as he always knew how to impeccably represent our origins with the white and blue and the location of our club with the German flag.

The process they explained to us at the beginning seemed unfeasible, as we are not always present in the stadium to hang it, but following their policy of less talk and more action, rolling up our sleeves and not our necks, they took care of providing us with the production address, weighting it, and from now on they will be responsible for guarding it and hanging it up at every match. That, for us, is what being Atleti is about.

Finally, we have begun to dress our stadium with the colors of its supporters’ clubs, as it should be, following the tradition of the Calderón. And from the Peña Atlética de Alemania, we feel proud and grateful to be able to be part of this family.

Thank you, ‘Creyentes’, for making us believe too, and for making the wish of many supporters’ club members and fans come true, firstly by helping to bring back our crest, and now by seeing their stadium adorned as they have desired for some time.
